She’s here! She’s here!

Shes here! Shes here!

HELLO AUNTIES!.

You formally have a new web niece!!

The very first week was a roller rollercoaster– these postpartum hormones are NO JOKE, however Im certainly feeling like theyve begun to level out and I feel a growing number of like “Jess” every day. This second week were certainly feeling more into a little groove and weve had the ability to capture our breath a little bit! My mama just arrived and will be staying with us for a week, so that has already been excellent! (She took the graveyard shift last night and then Neal took over morning, so I got to sleep for more than 8 hours directly and it was fantastic.).

As Im sure you have actually thought by the abrupt radio silence, our sweet woman chose to show up a little bit early! (I have been implying to get this “statement” publish up for two weeks !!).

So– this is a brief post saying that Im signing off from regular publishing in the meantime! If you have not read my “how I prepare to approach my self-employed maternity leave” post, consider that a read for what Im studying the next few months– uncertain when Ill be back to routinely set up programs, Im just taking things as they come and trying to take in every moment with her!.

Here are some photos weve taken control of the previous 2 weeks! The very first numerous I took myself at the hospital– I forgot the sd card for my big camera, so I really took these on my iPhone with picture mode on my iPhone tripod! (I believe theyre my finest iPhone images yet!).

For more day to day updates, make certain to follow along on Instagram!.

Its so real what they say that “nothing can genuinely prepare you” (and I mean that in the very best way possible!).

And a few more that Ive taken over the past two weeks.

We are so obsessed with her. Shes the sweetest baby, and we are all doing terrific. Of course, there have been many difficult, messy minutes too, but there have actually been a lot more “I cant think shes here and shes ours” tears more than anything else!.

(She is 2 weeks today! She is currently a pretty determined little lady– she made up her mind that she wanted out. I began having what I thought were cramps (turns out they were contractions that intensified rather rapidly) around 4:45 pm, we left for the hospital by 6pm, and she was born simply after midnight at 12:17!

Love you men! Appreciative for all of your love and assistance!.
